Hey all!
This week we have two major events-
1) We are transitioning to Devon and Jessica Dobek's house for community group. This is where we will be meeting from now on, so make a note of it even if you can't make it this week. Their address is 14865 SW Jonagold Terr, Tigard.
2) We are going to spend this week celebrating the much-anticipated arrival of Kiersten and Tim's new baby girl, who is due early in February. So, this week's theme is BABY FOOD! No, don't bring mush- think baby back ribs, baby spinach, etc. Be creative! ALSO, if you're interested, we will be doing a diaper raffle- if you bring a pack of Huggies for the Krajcars, you'll be entered in a drawing for something (an awesome gift that's TBD). This way, we'll set them up! You can bring any size- their baby girl will get to them at some point- but their brand of choice is Huggies. Thanks!
See you all Wednesday!
I googled foods that had "baby" in them and all I got were baby-(insert vegetable name here). I was not feeling too creative on coming up with something, but I would be happy to contribute some baby back ribs to the party. I am not sure how much yet, but I can get some.
ReplyDeleteDo we need to announce what sizes of diapers so there are not a lot of repeats?
Thanks, Community Group! This is so sweet. We will bring pulled-pork sliders (kind of look like "baby" burgers really).
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to seeing everyone.
We can bring sweet baby rays BBQ sauce if you want. :)
DeleteI think I'm going to pick up meat from Whole Foods - I'm in more of a "pick up" than a "cook" mood - but maybe bring it for people to add if they want too!! Thank you!
DeleteWe will bring "baby" red potatoes. Not sure how it will be prepared but we'll get creative. -Paul & Kirsten
ReplyDeleteWe'll bring some sort of baby dessert...
ReplyDeleteWe will be making big bunch of steamed baby carrots...
ReplyDeleteHey everyone...Thanks so much for your care and reach outs about my dad. He has improved so much~ still some health issues but not a crisis anymore and we are so thankful to the Lord for provision and healing and most of all His presence. I look forward to seeing you all tomorrow - finally! - and will work on figuring out a "baby" themed food.
ReplyDeleteI'll bring a salad made with baby spinach.
DeleteHi, My name is Barb and was planning on trying out the group for the first time this week. I made some funfetti cup cakes for celebration. Can't wait to meet everyone!
ReplyDeleteCrosswhite's are going with the "what looks like baby food" idea so, we will bring Lentil Soup and homemade applesauce.
ReplyDeleteYates are coming! We'll bring something baby, not sure yet what it'll be.
ReplyDeleteI will be there, but this is a tough one... I will bring some butter and bread rolls to represent the rolls that babies have. Gross, I know... ;)
ReplyDeleteAdorable! So creative. Love it.
DeleteWe will be there and will bring something but not so sure what. We will see what we can bring
